A: No, the Question Bank Program is not designed to replace the preferred teaching practices adopted by individual school districts. However, it is constructed to be the most innovative and effective on-line support tool available to educators, parents, and students.

Q: Will my state's standards and learning outcomes appear on the question selection page, or will I have to match questions with the learning outcome I am teaching?

A: Yes, each participating state's standards will be presented in the same order as on the State Department of Education's website. For example, when a teacher selects the State of Iowa, the question selection page will display Iowa State Standards. If the State of Alaska is selected, Alaska State Standards will be displayed.

Q: Can I include questions that pertain to more than one math or reading standard on a single print out?

A: Absolutely, teachers that want to create an assessment over more than one indicator can do so. It can cover four, five, or how ever many you wish.

A: No, a print out has to consist of indicators and questions from one subject area; math, reading, writing, social studies or science.

A: Comparing our resource to the others is like comparing apples to oranges.The fact is that there are quite a few sites that gather other questions into a single access point. However, they lack the knowledge and experience required to craft a unique and relevant archive of questions to compliment existing databases.
